Just a little bit about Lauren
My Floral Design Journey…..
…… began on accident.
With an extensive background in hospitality and restaurants, I knew that I needed to be in an environment of designing and entertaining. A passion for throwing my own parties paved the way for my love of floral design. I knew I was creative but I wasn't quite sure which channel to funnel it through.
Opening my shop was a dream come true. With the extraordinary help of my closest friends, we brought my vision into existence. As someone who doesn't fit into a "box" creatively, I needed my shop to also represent the chameleon soul that is within me! I let go of my shop in 2018 just for downsizing purposes, but I still operate fully from home.
Anyone in this industry will tell you that a creative career is risky and challenging at times, but the reward of creating art and happiness through floral design is one of the most fulfilling risks I've ever taken. The privilege of being part of the most important days of people’s lives is such an honor and something I take very seriously. The fact that I get to live out my passion everyday is something I am forever grateful for!
